Healing Gardens
SweetWater has many mature trees to provide shade throughout the warm days of summer and beautiful color during the fall.
Relax by strolling through or sitting and reading in SweetWater’s Healing Gardens. Not only can you enjoy the gardens but you can enjoy watching nature’s creatures enjoying the gardens also.
The SweetWater gardens are not only a respite for guests while they stay, but provide a day of fun for guests that like to play in the dirt during our spring “Green-thumbers Paradise” weekend. You will see their handiwork as you look through these pictures.

Gardens Dedicated to Friends and Loved Ones
Lakeview Rock Garden
This garden is dedicated to Don and Eleanore Wilkins, close friends of the family. The rock garden garden boasts of color from hostas, goats beard, new guinea impatiens, salvia, coral bells, astilbe and sedum.
The “Heart Garden” is dedicated to John Mohrlant. John was the Mr. Fixit of SweetWater for 2 years and had a heart as big as this garden. John reached out to the mentally challenged children he came in contact with and became a “Grandpa” to each so they could have that loving relationship and someone to share special days in their lives.
