Things To Do

fish trap lake from the air-3
Fish Trap Lake has 1,300 plus acres of lake to provide enjoyment for all water activities. Extremely picturesque, Fish Trap Lake is made up of many beautiful bays, islands and points. The views are breath-taking and in the early morning the mist rising off the water is a photographer’s dream. Many Bald Eagles make their home along the shores and can be seen soaring almost every summer day. Many loon families nest on Fish Trap and you’ll see them swim by carrying their young on their back. Fish Trap Lake has 13.7 miles of shoreline and 1,303 acres of recreational pleasure. The deepest point is 42 feet with a median depth of 23 feet. Walleye, large mouth bass, northern pike, crappie, perch and panfish can be be found in these clear waters. The lake offers a variety of challenging structure with steep shoreline breaks, sunken islands, rocky flats and a 10 to14 foot weed line.
